The latest release of DoordaHealth, version 1.12 will be available next week. This includes some significant new data and fixes to some issues. This version will be made available for download in DoordaFiles but prior to release, we wanted to let you know what it will include. 

  • New - Population age by OA e.g. number of 17-year-olds (For postcodes see bands below).
  • New - Births and deaths by LSOA
  • New – Dispensing contractors
  • New – GP Locations
  • New – GP patient Registers by LSOA
  • New – GP prescriptions by surgery
  • New - 2016 Patient Survey data mapped to LSOA and postcode, this includes:
    • When patient last visited surgery
    • Ease of contacting surgery
    • How patients normally book an appointment
    • Patients knowledge of online services
    • Patients preferred GP
    • Type of appointment wanted last time
    • Appointment process and convenience
    • Patients unable to get required appointment
    • Waiting time at surgery
    • GP ratings
    • Nurse ratings
    • Satisfaction with opening hours
    • Patients medical conditions
    • Patients state of health
    • Patients written care plan
    • Out of hours service
    • Patient profile
  • New - Estimated population in each postcode by age band, these are:
    • 4 and under
    • 5 to 11
    • 12 to 17
    • 18 to 24
    • 25 to 34
    • 35 to 44
    • 45 to 54
    • 55 to 64
    • 65 to 74
    • 74+
  • Update - Population statistics using 2016 data.
  • Change - ONS allocate postcodes to multiple LSOAs resulting in duplicates. We have revised the model so a postcode will now only appear in a single OA.
  • Change - Each table standardised on columns and rows, each table now contains 1.2 million rows, one for each postcode in England.
  • Change - Datatype now set to Decimal across all tables, previously it was a mixture of floating and decimal.  
  • Fixed - Duplicate rows appearing in some tables.
